View from the condo
This particular adventure takes place the first weekend in October. Friday morning begins at Bob's condo, in Dillon, Colorado. As many times as we've all seen this view from the deck, overlooking lake Dillon and the Ten Mile Range, it always looks a little different.

Prime Cut - falling gracefully This is a failed attempt at an obstacle on the Prime Cut trail. Prime Cut - another failure Your foot touched, that one doesn't count, either. Try again. Prime Cut - just go home, fool! Come back and try again next season, kid.

Gunnison River valley Sunday we decided to do a ride in Grand Junction. We picked the wrong trail, it was rather unintersting other than this spot near the Gunnison River. No, I didn't really ride over that ledge. On the right is a train going up the Gunnison River valley. Gunnison River valley

Snow The trip is winding down, and so is Autumn, judging by the snow at the higher elevations in the mountains. We can already see some accumulation on some of the ski runs at Beaver Creek.
